Senior Accountant (NetSuite)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work three days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own global general ledger activities, including software and platform accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, allocations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage and review work completed by a BPO accounting resource, ensuring accurate and timely journal entries and reconciliations.
• Partner with Procurement and Accounts Payable to review invoice coding in Coupa and identify control or process improvements.
• Improve month-end close processes, working schedules, reconciliations, documentation, and year-end audit readiness.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, external audits, and provided-by-client audit requests.
• Contribute to accounting automation projects, including potential integration of NetSuite with the banking platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with NetSuite or another large-scale accounting system.
• Experience posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing accruals, and creating high-quality working papers.
• Experience in the technology industry and a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, manage uncertainty, and continuously improve processes.
