Account Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City; candidates must be based in or willing to work from New York City

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 base salary per year plus commission

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact.
• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across HR, payroll, PEO, benefits, and EOR products.
• Build relationships with CFOs, COOs, HR leaders, and payroll administrators.
• Conduct regular business reviews, assess client health, and present relevant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to advocate for client needs.
• Maintain CRM records and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue expansion targets.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a related client-facing role.
• Familiarity with HR, payroll, PEO, or employee benefits products.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify and act on expansion opportunities.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to manage a large book of business.
• Based in or willing to work from New York City.
