Mid-Level Cloud Software Engineer (AI): Building, optimizing, and deploying enterprise-scale AI-enabled data processing and visualization systems across AWS and Azure GovCloud with an accent on full-stack development, microservices, and machine learning integration. Focus on developing secure cloud services, integrating LLMs and vector databases, building analyst-facing dashboards, and automating DevSecOps workflows for mission-critical cyber analytics environments.

What you will do
- Develop, test, and maintain secure, highly available microservices and cloud components across AWS and Microsoft Azure GovCloud and commercial environments.
- Build responsive web interfaces, dashboards, and visualizations for analysts and end users.
- Integrate AI/ML workflows, cognitive services, vector databases, LLMs, and generative AI into data pipelines.
- Support distributed data processing workflows and event-driven messaging for high-throughput cyber datasets.
- Develop custom data extraction and recovery tools while analyzing software behavior and security features.
- Automate infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and reliable deployment across secure environments.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- At least 2 years of progressive software development experience in operational or production environments.
- Backend programming experience with Python, Java, C#, C, or C++, plus Bash or PowerShell scripting.
- Practical experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational or NoSQL databases, Git, and software design principles.
Nice to have
- JavaScript or TypeScript, frontend frameworks, state management, or visualization tools.
- AI/ML, NLP, LLM orchestration, LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock experience.
- Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, Redis, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM/Bicep experience.
- Network analysis tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump and knowledge of operating system internals.
- Associate-level AWS or Azure cloud certification.
