Senior Social Media Specialist

Location: New York City, United States; requires onsite presence at activations and hirify.global events across New York and other US cities.

Base salary: $87,000–$93,000 per year, plus stock options.

What you will do

• Lead social media strategy for hirify.global’s US and English-speaking markets, driving brand awareness and audience growth.
• Plan, produce, and execute onsite activations, stunts, and campaign moments at hirify.global events.
• Film, edit, and publish short-form video content for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
• Build relationships with media contacts, creators, cultural figures, and industry professionals in New York.
• Develop culturally relevant content concepts and viral campaign ideas with Creative Strategy, Growth, Influencer Marketing, and Events teams.
• Monitor performance, audience sentiment, competitors, and trends; report on KPIs and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

• Based in New York City with strong knowledge of the city’s social and cultural scene.
• Native English proficiency; Spanish fluency is a strong plus.
• 6+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a similar role, preferably in entertainment, lifestyle, events, or culture.
• Proficiency in Canva and CapCut, with the ability to film, edit, and publish polished short-form video independently.
• Experience with influencer and creator networks, social media KPIs, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
