Multi-Platform Marketing Specialist (Social Media)

Location: Full-time onsite at the hirify.global station in San José, California; unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Create, shoot, produce, and edit social-first content, including vertical video, graphics, photos, and digital assets.
• Publish, schedule, and optimize marketing, promotional, community, and editorial content across social, streaming, web, and station platforms.
• Write conversational Spanish- and English-language copy tailored to each platform and audience.
• Develop multiplatform campaigns and creative concepts for programming, tentpole events, station priorities, and community initiatives.
• Monitor social performance, audience insights, and emerging trends to improve content and support audience growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Community, News, Digital, Sales, anchors, reporters, and external partners while supporting onsite events and live social coverage.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English, including strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, video production, communications, or a related field.
• Experience creating and editing short-form video and social-first content.
• Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social platforms, including platform-specific formats and best practices.
• Experience with video editing and creative tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent tools.
• Must be willing to work onsite in San José, California and hold unrestricted US work authorization. A valid driver's license, portfolio, and availability for occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and short-notice work are also required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Bay Area Latino audiences, culture, and communities.
• Experience in television, media, entertainment, news, community engagement, or high-volume content environments.
• Experience covering live events and creating real-time social content.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative and productivity tools.
