Manager, Social Media (AI)

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States; the role includes on-site content capture at jobsites, facilities, and events.

Salary: $95,000–$140,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute integrated social media and external communications strategies across LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Instagram, Reels, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Create copy, graphics, video scripts, and platform-specific content in collaboration with marketing, communications, brand, events, and multimedia teams.
• Capture behind-the-scenes video, photography, and real-time stories from active jobsites, facilities, and events.
• Plan and manage organic and paid full-funnel campaigns supporting brand awareness, customer acquisition, recruitment, and employee retention.
• Manage audience engagement, employee advocacy, crisis communications, competitive analysis, and campaign performance reporting.
• Protect brand standards and optimize social advertising budgets, content quality, ROI, and channel effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, English, public relations, business, or relevant professional experience.
• 7+ years of social media experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Strong creativity, copywriting, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience creating polished social content with AI-enabled tools and integrated platform design features.
• Strong photography and video production skills, including capturing, editing, and publishing high-quality content.
• Ability to work in Falls Church, Virginia and capture content in active field environments; a strong social media portfolio is required.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge of the architecture, engineering, or construction field.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Business Manager, Meta Business Suite, or Canva.
• Additional strengths in teamwork, organization, multitasking, and complex project management.
