Senior Autonomy Systems Engineer (Autonomy)

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Irving, Texas office. Some teams may also work from offices in Mossville, Illinois, or Tucson, Arizona. Relocation to the United States may be available. Travel may be required up to 15%, with higher requirements for some teams.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year, plus potential incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Define, decompose, and manage system-level requirements and interfaces.
• Lead or support system integration, validation, and testing activities.
• Align architecture intent, implementation, and verification across platforms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, machine, and site engineering teams.
• Communicate system readiness, technical risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Document system architecture, design decisions, and success criteria.

Requirements

• Experience leading systems engineering, requirements development, architecture, interfaces, and integration strategies across complex multi-team or multi-product environments.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles, product testing, application development tools, and technical troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or commensurate industry experience.
• Experience developing system requirements and supporting integration and testing for software or hardware products, preferably embedded or onboard systems.
• Ability to influence technical direction and mentor other systems engineers.

Nice to have

• Field testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and ground support experience.
• Experience with L6/L8 requirements decomposition and site autonomy platforms.
• Experience with loaders, haul trucks, dozers, shovels, robotics, construction, or mining.
• Experience supporting embedded or onboard autonomy product development.
