Translation & Localization Specialist

Location: Remote in South Africa

Salary: ZAR 750,000–833,300 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate multilingual localization requests from intake through delivery, tracking scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external language vendors to clarify requirements and resolve delivery issues.
• Manage vendor intake, quotes, production schedules, project status, and standard localization workflows.
• Prepare and organize translation keys and string files for platform emails and CRM communications.
• Verify formatting, placeholders, and variables before localized content is integrated into CRM and marketing automation systems.
• Maintain glossaries and terminology databases and perform linguistic and technical quality assurance.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in translation coordination, localization project management, or a related field.
• Practical experience with translation management tools, terminology resources, localization workflows, and quality assurance practices.
• High proficiency in English, written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to data formatting, string management, and linguistic consistency.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders and external translation vendors.

Nice to have

• Fluency or native-level knowledge of French or another major language.
