Relationship Banker - Farmington Main St Branch

Location: Farmington, Connecticut, United States of America. Onsite branch role with face-to-face customer interactions.

Salary: $22.61–$37.67 hourly USD.

What you will do

• Assess customer needs, identify sales opportunities, open accounts, and refer complex needs to appropriate banking partners.
• Manage customer outreach, pre-call planning, appointments, follow-up, onboarding, and ongoing relationship development.
• Present relevant financial products and services and provide customer servicing support.
• Support branch customer flow, lobby management, sales activity, and service interactions.
• Apply risk controls, fraud prevention practices, KYC, CIP, audit requirements, and internal control standards.
• Maintain registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience, or at least one year of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge and the ability to communicate tactfully with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and common communication tools.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers for prolonged periods, read fine print, and lift objects weighing 5–30 lbs.
• Ability to work face-to-face with customers in the Farmington branch.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Notary public license.
• Bilingual skills based on branch needs.
