Location: Lame Deer, Montana, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts from 0700–1530 or 0830–1700.

What you will do
- Review patient charts, laboratory results, vital signs, allergies, and medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Process medication orders, fill prescriptions, verify completed prescriptions, and handle refill requests and outside prescriptions.
- Educate patients on medication therapy and provide clinical guidance to providers regarding drug selection, dosage, and dosage forms.
- Recognize medication-related adverse reactions and life-threatening emergencies, providing interventions and resuscitation measures as appropriate.
- Perform controlled-substance audits, IV admixtures, inpatient drug distribution, and immunizations.
- Document patient care in the electronic health record, complete required records, attend meetings, and participate in mandatory training.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy school program.
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license without disciplinary action in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
- Zero to one year of experience as a registered pharmacist.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Valid driver’s license from one of the 50 United States or Puerto Rico.
- Immunization certification is required to administer vaccinations.
