Manager, Inventory (Medical Devices)

Location: On-site in Chelmsford, Massachusetts; applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance. This role does not offer relocation. Immigration-related sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 annually.

What you will do

• Oversee accurate and timely WIP inventory transactions, reconciliations, material reviews, returns to vendors, and cycle counts.
• Own the site-wide cycle count process, investigate variances, make adjustments, and drive corrective improvements.
• Manage inventory reserves and the disposition of non-conforming WIP materials in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Coordinate WIP sub-assembly production, back-flush, and inventory issuance for technical service and sales order requirements.
• Maintain forecasts, inventory KPIs, and metrics covering cycle counts, WIP inventory, scrap, and reserves.
• Lead inventory coordinators and supervisors while collaborating with warehouse leadership and operations teams.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with stockroom, inventory, and purchasing receipt transactions.
• Demonstrated leadership, research, problem-solving, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a material operations mindset.
• Ability to communicate and present results and recommendations effectively.
• Must be able to work on-site in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and must not require immigration sponsorship.
