Internship Data & AI Engineering

Location: Hybrid in CDR (Amsterdam - Cedar), Netherlands. During the internship, enrollment at a Dutch university is mandatory, or at an EU university for EU passport holders.

Internship allowance: €700 based on a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Support development of the Repo Scanner (Repo Radar) platform for repository analysis and engineering insights.
• Build rule-based and intelligent, agentic scanning logic using LLM-based approaches.
• Integrate scanning workflows with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Agents, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop data pipelines and staging logic for a scalable code catalog and data storage layer.
• Create dashboards and visualization layers using Python-based frameworks and/or Looker.
• Research and implement checks for code quality, test coverage, dependencies, security, and GenAI usage.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Python; experience with Java, Scala, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps repositories.
• Interest in clean code, code quality, testing principles, AI/LLM systems, and agentic approaches.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be enrolled at a Dutch university, or at an EU university if holding an EU passport, for the duration of the internship.
