Senior Architect

Location: Remote - Nationwide within the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $138,000–$200,100 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Define technology strategy for digital customer and employee experiences across web, mobile, and other touchpoints.
• Design and modernize complex systems using microservices, RESTful APIs, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and cloud-native architectures.
• Integrate financial data sources and APIs to support unified dashboards and personalized digital experiences.
• Develop reference architectures, standards, best practices, security guidance, and cloud migration strategies.
• Conduct proof of concepts, evaluate emerging technologies including Generative AI and advanced analytics, and recommend solutions.
• Partner with enterprise architects, business teams, IT teams, and the Innovation Lab to guide technology strategy and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• Technical bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience defining and driving technology strategy for large enterprises.
• Experience in financial services, including asset management, brokerage, retirement services, or banking.
• Strong experience integrating financial data and APIs, applying data analytics and machine learning, and conducting proof of concepts.
• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, customer journey mapping, design thinking, and omnichannel experience strategy.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• 5+ years delivering software systems and 3+ years creating solution architectures and strategies across enterprise architecture domains.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JSON/XML web services, AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Node, and Python.
• Experience with AWS or multi-cloud architectures, SOA, microservices, NoSQL, messaging, and modern integration methods.
• Experience with React or Angular, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, responsible AI, and production-scale machine learning systems.
