Senior Architect II, Global Client Group Systems

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work with on-site presence in the Boston office 3 days per week

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential discretionary incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Technology to define and deliver scalable solutions.
• Analyze business processes, systems, and data to improve efficiency, data quality, controls, user experience, and operational risk.
• Gather and document requirements, user stories, functional specifications, workflows, business rules, acceptance criteria, and data governance needs.
• Support solution design, testing, implementation, user acceptance testing, and post-production validation.
• Investigate and coordinate production issue resolution while creating documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Partner with IT delivery teams on cross-functional initiatives, product roadmaps, and technology planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Business Architect in investment management or investment software.
• Strong knowledge of investment management concepts, including clients, accounts, securities, cash flows, performance measurement, and client reporting.
• Expertise in at least two domains such as client reporting, investment operations, performance measurement, fund accounting, CRM, market data, or trading.
• Experience with Agile requirements gathering, SQL, Python or other data analysis tools, relational databases, APIs, JSON/XML, web services, and modern application architectures.
• Experience with data modeling and business intelligence tools; Tableau is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, Seismic, SimCorp Coric, or similar CRM and client reporting platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise master data platforms for accounts, securities, or positions.
• Exposure to AWS, AI technologies, and modern software development practices.
• MBA or CFA qualification.
