Field Service Engineer (Northern Ireland)

Location: Remote from Ireland, ideally based in Northern Ireland, with regular travel across Ireland and mainland UK. Engineers start from home and travel to customer sites, typically 1–2 hours each way, with occasional overnight stays.

What you will do

• Install and commission Videojet equipment at customer sites.
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting on installed equipment.
• Support product demonstrations and trials with the sales team.
• Build customer relationships through technical support and service.
• Identify improvement opportunities and additional service needs during customer visits.
• Manage service cases from diagnosis through resolution.

Requirements

• Experience in field service or technical service within an electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering environment.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills in industrial or production settings.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple service tasks and customer needs.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Ireland and mainland UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial coding and marking technologies such as CIJ, laser coding, or labelling systems.
