Senior Recruiter (Media)

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, negotiation, and close.
• Recruit across editorial, creative, podcast/audio, revenue, and operations functions.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define roles, create hiring plans, and advise throughout searches.
• Build proactive and representative talent pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and passive-candidate outreach.
• Run consistent, bias-aware interview processes and coach interviewers on effective, legally sound interviewing.
• Track recruiting metrics, manage concurrent searches, and provide market insight on media, journalism, and podcasting talent.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in-house.
• Experience recruiting editorial, creative, and audio/podcast talent.
• Strong sourcing, stakeholder-management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience advising hiring managers and senior leaders, including constructive pushback when needed.
• Ability to build equitable hiring processes and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Comfort managing an ATS and partnering on recruiting-process improvements.
