Fire Alarm Engineer (Fire Protection)

What you will do

• Verify electrical, fire protection, life safety, and specialty engineering systems, including fire alarm and detection, mass notification, suppression, smoke control, and special hazard systems.
• Prepare and present technical reports, assessments, and design review documentation.
• Review submission packages for regulatory compliance, including building code reviews and analyses.
• Plan and support site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems.
• Plan resources and direct engineering activities for assigned projects across the Middle East.
• Engage with regulatory and approving authorities during design, construction, and project handover.

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design and layout, primarily involving fire alarm systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Middle East design practices, approvals, building codes, and life safety requirements.
• Strong written and spoken communication, report-writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present technically sound engineering strategies and assessment results.
