Senior Automation Engineer (Industrial Automation)

What you will do

• Design control systems for industrial automation equipment from concept through completion.
• Work with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to develop control system design specifications.
• Select and manage automation contractors throughout the project life cycle.
• Review system integrator and vendor design documentation.
• Coordinate with automation vendors and track developments in automation technology.
• Attend control system hardware and software factory acceptance tests.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification in electronic systems, mechatronics, automation, controls technology, or equivalent technical experience.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in software development and industrial control system design.
• Experience designing PLC- and DCS-based control systems.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design standards including S88, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Knowledge of industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, and Ethernet APL, plus panel drawings and P&IDs.

• Design or project experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
