What you will do
- Automate finance operations, including invoice ingestion, classification, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with process owners across finance, IT, People, and delivery to turn workflows into testable automations.
- Build and maintain integrations against internal systems like Microsoft Graph, Slack, Atlassian, and banking platforms.
- Design agentic automations with human-in-the-loop approval gates for sensitive financial or access-related tasks.
- Ensure all automations meet strict audit, security, and regulatory standards, including SOX, SOC 2, and the EU AI Act.
- Maintain and instrument deployed systems to ensure visibility and immediate failure detection.
Requirements
- Production-grade software development experience with a disciplined approach to testing and deployment.
- Fluency in multiple software ecosystems and practical experience with third-party API integrations.
- Deep understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, service accounts).
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including tool use, structured extraction, and agentic patterns.
- Working knowledge of AI regulatory frameworks and automated decision-making compliance.
- Ability to work independently as the primary engineer on internal automation projects.
Nice to have
- Experience delivering AI systems under the EU AI Act.
- Background in SOX-compliant environments or IT general controls.
- Experience with finance systems (ERP, accounts payable, bank reconciliation).
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 compliance.
