AI Systems Specialist

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid, with in-person work 3 days per week and residence within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub required.

hirify.global is an intelligent platform for travel and spend management, automating travel bookings, expenses, invoice processing, and related business workflows.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade, multi-step AI agents using Python and LLM APIs such as Claude and OpenAI.
• Build a reusable agent framework with shared abstractions, integration modules, observability, error handling, and graceful degradation.
• Develop data pipelines, API integrations, webhooks, and event-driven flows connecting Salesforce, outbound tools, enrichment providers, and internal systems.
• Own the data layer for AI decision-making, including schemas, data quality, monitoring, and Salesforce custom objects, flows, and automation.
• Partner with GTM leadership to replace manual work in account research, signal triage, follow-up sequencing, and CRM hygiene.
• Set engineering standards, diagnose production failures, and share frameworks and learnings with GTM Engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a technical role building production systems in a B2B SaaS environment, with GTM or revenue systems exposure.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying multi-step AI agents with Python and LLM APIs.
• Strong Python engineering fundamentals, including clean, maintainable, testable, observable, and recoverable systems.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, and event-driven automation using Make, n8n, Zapier, or equivalent tools.
• Salesforce configuration experience covering custom objects, flows, reporting, and data integrity logic.
• English is the official language at the office; the role requires regular in-person work in commuting distance of a hirify.global hub.

Nice to have

• Experience designing agent frameworks or shared infrastructure used by other developers.
• Familiarity with Clay, Outreach, Gong, Apollo, conversation intelligence, and signal-based automation.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
