TL;DR
Workday Specialist (Workday HCM): Supporting, configuring, enhancing, and continuously improving Aurecon’s Workday HCM platform with an accent on Core HCM, Absence, integrations, security, and business process configuration. Focus on troubleshooting complex defects, deploying scalable solutions, supporting bi-annual releases, and maintaining reliable HR technology through testing, governance, and stakeholder collaboration.

What you will do

  • Support, configure, enhance, and continuously improve the Workday HCM platform.
  • Provide third-level technical and functional support for Workday modules, integrations, and connected HCM systems.
  • Manage service requests, business process changes, security configurations, custom objects, validations, reports, and integrations.
  • Investigate, test, implement, and support Workday defects through to post-deployment resolution.
  • Support bi-annual Workday releases through impact assessment, regression testing, validation, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with People, IT, Workday Leads, and business stakeholders while maintaining documentation and governance standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Workday HCM implementation and support experience, including configuration, enhancements, and release activities.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM and Absence modules.
  • Experience configuring business processes, security, custom objects, validations, reports, and integrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of HR and employee lifecycle processes, ERP systems, ITSM, service management tools, and Agile Scrum.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a global shared services, multinational, or enterprise environment.
  • Workday certification and exposure to additional Workday modules.
