HSE Advisor - Puma (Chemical Construction)

What you will do

• Provide HSE advice and guidance to management, supervisors, employees, and contractors.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, safety tours, and behavioural safety observations.
• Review risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training while promoting workforce engagement.
• Maintain HSE records, monitor corrective actions, support emergency preparedness, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience as an HSE Advisor in construction, engineering, industrial services, petrochemical, chemical, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
• Experience supporting Principal Contractor operations under CDM 2015.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• TechIOSH membership or active progress toward membership.
• Full UK driving licence and GCSE or equivalent Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics.
• CSCS Professionally Qualified Person Card or ability to obtain one, with knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
