Senior iOS Engineer (Swift)

Location: Hybrid from the central London or Budapest offices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; work from home on Wednesday and Friday

Base salary: £75,000–£115,000 per year, plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of new features for the hirify.global iOS app.
• Own features end to end in collaboration with backend, design, product, and QE teams.
• Improve app performance, quality, security, robustness, and developer experience.
• Maintain high standards through hands-on development, code reviews, testing, and engineering practice improvements.
• Resolve complex issues, reduce technical debt, and contribute to platform and architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in the customer support rota.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of experience building production-grade mobile applications.
• Strong iOS architecture knowledge and experience with Swift, dependency injection frameworks, and SwiftUI.
• Good understanding of GraphQL and backend service integration.
• Experience with Combine, Swift Concurrency, or RxSwift.
• Familiarity with Git, collaborative development, CI, and build tooling such as CircleCI.
• Experience making technical decisions, delivering complex features, and mentoring junior engineers.
