Mobile Software Engineer (iOS) - Olo App

What you will do

• Build next-generation features for the hirify.global mobile app and contribute to its post-MVP roadmap.
• Develop clean, maintainable native iOS software using Swift and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product and engineering stakeholders to refine requirements and shape solutions.
• Debug issues, support deployments and monitoring, and help resolve production problems.
• Contribute to reliable distributed systems, testing standards, delivery pipelines, and deployment practices.
• Participate in team ceremonies, continuous learning, on-call duties, and AI coding training using Claude Code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software engineering experience focused on native mobile development.
• Proficiency in native iOS development with Swift, including independent implementation of moderately complex features and algorithms.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
• Ability to write and maintain unit tests, troubleshoot software issues, and communicate technical details clearly.
• Ability to work remotely from within Northern Ireland.
