Senior Software Engineer - SDK (iOS)

Location: Menlo Park, California; New York, New York; or Seattle, Washington, United States

Base salary: $159,800–$199,750, $169,200–$211,500, or $188,000–$235,000 USD annually, depending on U.S. region

What you will do

• Design, architect, build, and maintain the mobile Ads SDK for supported platforms.
• Track iOS platform updates and contribute to shared architecture across iOS and Android.
• Partner with backend and infrastructure teams on APIs, telemetry, and services powering the SDK.
• Support customer SDK integrations and maintain customer-facing documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-platform engineering teams on new customer-facing features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute feedback that supports team growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including strong iOS experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and/or object-oriented programming.
• Expert understanding of multithreading and networking.
• Understanding of iOS internals, compilers, and optimization for low-power devices.
• Comfort working across client, server, and tooling layers, with experience in agile methodologies and high-level design.

Nice to have

• Android development with Kotlin or Java, or experience with React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience distributing CocoaPods, Carthage, or Swift Package Manager libraries.
• Experience publishing apps to the App Store or Google Play.
• Experience with MRAID, VAST, React Native plugins, or Unity plugins.
• Backend or full-stack experience.
