2027 Software Dev Engineer Intern - Luxembourg

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; interns must work in the office Monday–Friday, typically up to 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate innovative products and scalable, reliable services.
• Break down complex and ambiguous problems into solvable components.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and collaborative engineering practices.
• Write clean, maintainable code and accurate technical documentation.
• Use AI-powered development tools while critically validating AI-generated code.
• Practice CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production incident resolution, including on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• At least one academic term must remain after the internship concludes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, learning, and adaptation skills.

Nice to have

• Previous technical internship or demonstrated project experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, database systems, AI-assisted development tools, open-source projects, or version control.
• Demonstrated ownership from design through operation.
