What you will do

• Support design-in of connectivity products for cloud service providers and server and network OEMs.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and help overcome system design challenges.
• Investigate, reproduce, and drive customer-reported issues through resolution.
• Work in the lab with leading-edge semiconductor products and high-speed systems.
• Create datasheets, application notes, and other technical documentation for customers and internal teams.
• Provide feedback to product, engineering, and validation teams to improve products and processes.

Requirements

• Engineering bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or a closely related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience designing in complex SoC or silicon products for cloud providers, server OEMs, or network OEMs.
• Experience with system hardware design, bring-up, and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of NRZ/PAM4 SerDes protocols, including PCIe and 25G+ Ethernet, and/or LPDDR5/4/3 memory interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with traffic generators, analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, high-speed board design, and signal integrity techniques.
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to produce clear, precise product documentation.

Nice to have

• Firmware development and in-system debugging with C, plus scripting with Python or equivalent languages.
• Experience developing or supporting PCIe or Ethernet switch products.
• Experience with silicon characterization and validation, simulation and modeling, schematic capture, or PCB layout tools.
• Knowledge of Keysight ADS, SiSoft QCD, or other tools for IBIS-AMI analysis.
• Experience with data center systems, customer enablement, and server, storage, or networking architectures.
