General Accountant (AI Infrastructure)

Location: London, UK; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: £45,000–£60,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

hirify.global is a pre-revenue, founder-led AI infrastructure company building vertically integrated infrastructure spanning capital, compute clusters, and software.

What you will do

• Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, payment runs, and purchase-order approvals across group entities.
• Post accrual, prepayment, payroll, and intercompany journals with supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts payable, payroll, and deposits.
• Support UK VAT returns, overseas VAT compliance, fixed asset and prepayment registers, and month-end reporting.
• Respond to external audit requests with accurate, well-referenced evidence.
• Help migrate accounting data and processes from Xero to the new group ERP.

Requirements

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA accountant actively studying, or equivalent experience; study support is provided.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience covering accounts payable, journals, and reconciliations.
• Strong double-entry accounting fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with Xero or a comparable ledger system; multi-currency experience is helpful.
• Ability to work reliably against fixed deadlines and communicate clearly in writing.
