About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead payment operations across the UK, India and Australia
- Set performance expectations and develop leadership capability
- Coach and mentor payment operations staff
- Own payment vendor selection, negotiation, performance management and exit
- Manage vendor budgets and commercial commitments
- Reduce transaction costs through routing, pricing and contract renegotiation
- Sponsor payments change and maintain the payments roadmap
- Work with Engineering and Product to secure delivery capacity
- Own the payments control environment and protect client money
- Partner with Financial Crime, Fraud and Compliance on payment risk
- Close audit and regulatory findings at root cause
- Define and report payment operational metrics
- Use payment data to influence senior stakeholders
