Platform Engineer - Windows (Windows/Active Directory): Supporting and developing tools and platforms for secure Windows Server services across onsite and cloud environments with an accent on enterprise infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, and PowerShell automation. Focus on troubleshooting complex Windows environments, delivering operational and project work, and maintaining reliable services through on-call support.
Location: Brisbane South (Nathan), Australia; 60% onsite and 40% remote, with possible work across other campuses.
Salary: AUD 104,504–113,219 base salary plus 17% superannuation; total package AUD 122,270–132,466 per year.

What you will do
- Support and manage enterprise Microsoft Windows Servers, applications, and Active Directory.
- Build and maintain tools and platforms for Windows Server services onsite and in the cloud.
- Deliver a mix of business-as-usual operational work and infrastructure projects.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with engineers and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in the Windows on-call roster approximately every 4–5 weeks.
Requirements
- Relevant diploma or degree with at least four years of subsequent relevant experience.
- Experience supporting a large enterprise Microsoft Windows environment.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, and PowerShell scripting.
- Unrestricted Australian work rights are required for the duration of the 12-month appointment.
- Availability for the Windows on-call roster is essential.
- A criminal history check may be required.
Nice to have
- Programming and scripting experience for automation and solution development.
- Cloud deployment and support experience with Azure or AWS.
- Experience with Agile delivery, software development, or DevOps.
