Full Stack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with required office presence in San Jose, New York City, or Seattle

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own ambiguous product and technical problems from discovery and system investigation through architecture, implementation, and delivery.
• Build data-intensive product features across the stack, including React interfaces, APIs, data models, and backend services.
• Develop AI-native workflows that make agent behavior understandable and controllable, including review and human intervention capabilities.
• Integrate with enterprise systems of record such as SAP, Salesforce, and Workday, handling complex data models, APIs, and edge cases.
• Partner with product, design, data, and infrastructure teams to shape solutions and iteratively deliver business value.
• Contribute to platform foundations through architecture, reusable abstractions, shared components, engineering conventions, code reviews, and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Backend experience designing APIs and services with Node.js, Python, Java, or a comparable stack.
• Strong fundamentals in relational data models, SQL, schemas, transformations, and performance and reliability for data-intensive applications.
• Ability to take features from database to user interface and work effectively across the stack.
• Strong product judgment, pragmatic decision-making, clear technical communication, and a high-ownership collaborative approach.
• Ability to work in a hybrid format from the San Jose, New York City, or Seattle office.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-native or agentic products, including agent execution, tool use, observability, evaluations, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, HCM, or other complex systems of record, particularly SAP.
• Experience in fast-moving, early-stage environments and with modern AI-assisted development tools.
