Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco

Salary: $180,000 – $270,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own user-facing surfaces end-to-end, from interaction design and frontend to application logic, APIs, and model calls.
• Ship production code continuously, with the expectation of deploying to users within the first week.
• Build using AI agents and coding models as primary tools to accelerate development.
• Transform ambiguous product ideas into working prototypes and iterate based on real usage data.
• Collaborate directly with designers, PMs, and research engineers to maintain high standards for latency and reliability.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience or a strong track record of production-scale internships.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python or Go) and experience with relational data modeling.
• Comfortable working with React and TypeScript on the frontend.
• Demonstrable evidence of building production software, side projects, or open-source contributions.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and build incrementally without waiting for detailed specifications.
• Must be based in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with the current stack: Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and AWS.
• Hands-on experience building on top of LLMs, including RAG, evals, and AI orchestration.
• Strong product taste and ability to improve interface quality.
