Benefits Manager (Aerospace)

Base pay: $130,800–$163,500 per year

What you will do

• Own the strategy, design, and daily operation of global benefits programs.
• Develop benefits strategies with senior People leadership and align programs with business objectives.
• Manage renewals, contribution modeling, open enrollment, leave administration, employee inquiries, and required filings.
• Manage benefits vendors, broker and carrier relationships, and technology-enabled delivery.
• Support international expansion by establishing and maintaining benefits programs across multiple regions.
• Analyze utilization, cost trends, and benchmarking data to recommend program improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive benefits experience, including at least 2 years in benefits management or leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of benefits administration platforms such as Workday, Rippling, or similar HRIS systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and state leave laws.
• Strong analytical, communication, and employee-support skills.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling benefits programs across international markets.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or manufacturing/aerospace environment.
• Experience managing broker and carrier relationships through competitive RFP processes.
• Familiarity with leave-of-absence case management at scale.
• Track record of improving benefits processes and employee experience.
