Receiving Coordinator, Distribution Center and Logistics (Logistics)

Location: Miami, Florida / South Florida. In-office Monday through Thursday at a designated Carnival office; work from home on Fridays. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.

What you will do

• Resolve inbound shipment discrepancies, including missing paperwork, ship names, purchase order numbers, and department details.
• Use RF equipment and shipment-processing software to create labels and maintain accurate freight records.
• Coordinate with vendors, purchasing teams, corporate port operations, warehouses, homeports, destination ports, service providers, and shipboard teams.
• Process return-to-vendor freight and maintain digital delivery records for mailroom and logistics partners.
• Maintain vendor access lists, review bulk shipment pre-alerts, and support loading plans for oversized or overweight freight.
• Prepare pallet counts and order frozen and chilled trailers based on product volumes and delivery requirements; operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills, both spoken and written.
• 1–2 years of warehouse operations or related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience tracking and logging orders for reverse logistics.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Forklift certification and the ability to safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
