What you will do

• Unload and load trucks while accurately weighing, dimensioning, labeling, picking, staging, and storing freight.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and maintain accurate warehouse movement records.
• Check shipment quantities, labels, addresses, country codes, and documentation to prevent shortages, damage, and mis-shipments.
• Enter operational data, report discrepancies, and coordinate with the office to meet customer service standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including the temperature-controlled room.
• Follow department processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, count accurately, perform basic arithmetic, and complete written documentation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently twist, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to use proper lifting techniques for weights up to 40 pounds and follow safety directions.
• Effective communication, organization, time management, adaptability, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification and Security Threat Assessment are required after successful employment.
