Database Administrator – MS SQL Server

What you will do

• Administer and operate relational and non-relational database environments, primarily Microsoft SQL Server.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database engines according to operational standards.
• Monitor production environments, analyze alerts, and troubleshoot incidents under defined SLAs.
• Manage backup and recovery processes, high-availability solutions, and capacity planning.
• Optimize queries, support applications, and maintain technical documentation and operational standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in database administration or support.
• Experience administering relational and non-relational databases, primarily MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of database installation, configuration, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Experience monitoring environments, analyzing alerts, and troubleshooting incidents.
• Intermediate English required for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with database security, access management, patching, upgrades, and platform hardening.
• Experience managing backups, recovery processes, and high-availability database solutions.
• DP-300: Azure Database Administrator Associate or an equivalent certification.
