Manufacturing Program Engineer – New Model Launch (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; fully onsite at the work location

What you will do

• Manage new vehicle and powertrain model launch programs across the manufacturing lifecycle.
• Oversee pre-production build events, including vehicle ordering, building, testing, disposition, and fleet evaluation.
• Track build issues, coordinate cross-functional resolution, and drive timely closure of part-support and program issues.
• Manage product development change approvals and verify that changes are integrated before prototype builds.
• Control launch budget activities and prepare weekly program status and risk assessments.
• Support senior management presentations and facilitate the integration of launch teams into manufacturing plants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• At least 2 years of experience applying problem-solving disciplines with a statistical mindset.
• At least 1 year of experience in powertrain or vehicle operations manufacturing, design, or program management, including project management or launch experience.
• Program management experience maintaining issue lists and coordinating resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience bringing new vehicle models from development into full-scale production.
• Experience with engineering change management and issue management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
