Training Lead, Safety & Operations (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite 5 days a week. Frequent travel to operational, testing, and deployment locations is required.

Salary: $180,000–$260,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build, refine, and standardize training curricula for testing, deployment, and engineering support personnel.
• Translate complex engineering materials and standard operating procedures into accessible training content and deliver programs end-to-end.
• Embed critical safety procedures and operational processes into daily workflows.
• Implement training records, metrics, audits, and traceability frameworks using learning and capability-tracking systems.
• Evaluate field trainers and standardize training delivery and testing methodologies across operational sites.
• Develop competency matrices, ongoing learning modules, retraining workflows, and safety recertification programs.

Requirements

• Experience leading technical training or operational safety programs in autonomous vehicles, deployed robotics, or other safety-critical technology sectors.
• Technical familiarity or direct experience with autonomous commercial trucking operations, logistics, and related safety protocols.
• Experience scaling training operations, managing remote trainers, and standardizing processes across geographically distributed hubs.
• Experience with enterprise learning management systems and capability-tracking platforms requiring strict data integrity.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara 5 days per week and travel frequently to operational, testing, and deployment locations.
