Sr. Deployment Strategist, FDE - Manufacturing & High-Tech

Location: United States; the role includes working onsite with customers approximately 25–50% of the time, sometimes more.

Base salary: $219,765–$302,220 USD annually, depending on pay zone and candidate-specific factors. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales and customer executives to discover high-value business problems, quantify value, and define pilots, MVPs, success criteria, and timelines.
• Own product direction by authoring PRDs, prioritizing engineering backlogs, managing scope, and translating business needs into data, integration, security, and operational requirements.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews across data flows, integrations, cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, security, governance, machine learning, and generative AI.
• Drive FDE engineering delivery through an agile process, unblock technical and organizational issues, and perform hands-on QA and troubleshooting.
• Manage launch readiness, war-room operations, user feedback, adoption, data quality, testing, security, performance, and production operations.
• Plan maintenance and customer enablement, identify follow-on engagements, and codify reusable solution patterns for Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• Typically 7+ years delivering complex customer-facing data, analytics, AI, or software engagements, or equivalent founder or technical-builder experience.
• Experience delivering data, machine learning, or generative AI systems into production and handling integration, operations, and adoption challenges.
• Strong product judgment, executive presence, communication, scope management, and complex agile project delivery skills.
• Technical fluency in modern data and AI architectures, including cloud platforms, data pipelines, data models, distributed systems, APIs, security, and governance.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or SQL; ability to explore data, work in notebooks, review code and pipelines, build prototypes, and troubleshoot.
• Must be able to work onsite with customers in the United States approximately 25–50% of the time, sometimes more.
