Salary: $152,600–$254,300 per year for New York/New Jersey; annual target bonus and equity opportunity may also apply.

A derivatives marketplace developing and operating clearing and market risk systems for global financial markets.

What you will do

• Prepare, coordinate, and lead reviews of clearing firms and their risk management functions.
• Provide expertise on CME market risk practices, principles, systems, and monitoring tools, including SPAN and SPAN2.
• Monitor markets and manage risk by reviewing and adjusting margin requirements within the SPAN and SPAN2 frameworks.
• Produce ongoing and event-driven reports and analysis for Clearing House Risk Senior Management.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis for the clearing house, wider business, and regulatory bodies such as the CFTC, presenting findings to senior management and regulators.
• Lead market risk projects, enhance risk systems, develop risk measurement strategies, and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field; an MBA is a plus.
• 6–8+ years of experience in risk management, mid-office, or a related area.
• Preferred exposure to Energy, Metals, or Agriculture markets.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and AI tools is a plus.
