Manager, Segment Profitability Accounting and Reporting (Financial Services)

Location: Southington, Connecticut, United States; full-time onsite role

Annual base pay: $75,000–$125,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage and improve financial planning and analysis processes, reporting, systems, procedures, and projects.
• Enhance financial understanding of business lines, products, and segments to support reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Develop financial forecasts and recommendations that support strategic direction, budgeting, and business cases.
• Research industry and peer data sources to provide reporting benchmarks.
• Act as a subject matter expert, provide functional and technical guidance, and implement solutions to existing problems.
• Coach, review, and mentor professional staff and project managers while coordinating with internal clients, executives, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience, training, military service, or education.
• At least 5 years of financial planning and analysis experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Established work history or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
