Senior Financial Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States — hybrid with regular in-office days required

What you will do

• Support asset disposition activities, including loan sales, valuation modeling, portfolio analytics, marketing materials, and buyer discussions.
• Build and improve financial models for retained-versus-sold analysis, discounted cash flow modeling, gain/loss analysis, pricing sensitivity, and recovery outcomes.
• Analyze loan portfolio performance, including balances, yields, credit performance, charge-offs, recoveries, prepayments, and delinquencies.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting by preparing data inputs, running models, comparing actual results with expectations, and producing management reports.
• Prepare reporting for management and the board, support ALCO meetings, and assist with public reporting and draft filing reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, data analytics, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of related experience in banking, finance, accounting, treasury, credit, capital markets, portfolio analytics, or asset management.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel modeling, large datasets, financial models, and risk management tools.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting, including a general understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
• Must work in a hybrid arrangement with some regular in-office days in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting asset disposition, loan sale analysis, or portfolio valuation.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, financial planning systems, or other data analysis tools.
