DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Worldwide; remote work or work from one of the offices

What you will do

• Build infrastructure for an innovative fintech service on an AWS-based platform.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and support deployment and scaling of containerized applications.
• Configure and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Implement Istio service mesh for visibility, security, and microservices traffic management.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and automate repetitive work.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure to maintain high availability and reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise, particularly with AWS or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloudflare, Istio, GitLab, ArgoCD, Ansible, and Helm.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with distributed systems and databases including Elasticsearch, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• B1 or higher English proficiency; coding skills in Shell/Bash and Python, Go, or Java.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting highly scalable and highly available systems under significant load.
• Hands-on experience developing custom Kubernetes operators.
