What you will do

• Manage manufacturing engineering projects and programs from preliminary planning through completion.
• Define outcomes, milestones, feasibility, resources, costs, timelines, and project requirements.
• Coordinate product and process development, documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer across functions.
• Manage engineering resources, departmental budgets, and spending to maximize productivity.
• Assign work to subordinate employees and provide coaching and professional development.
• Use engineering technologies and software packages to optimize design development and accelerate commercialization.

Requirements

• Experience analyzing situations or data by reviewing relevant factors.
• Ability to recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies and manage work against defined objectives.
• Ability to direct employees under established policies and management guidance.
• Sound judgment within defined procedures and policies.
• Ability to gain cooperation and present technical information about projects and schedules.
