Full Stack Software Engineer II (React)

Location: Hybrid role based in Madison, Wisconsin, United States; in-person meetings may sometimes be required, with flexible work-from-home options.

Salary: $72.13–$108.20 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Develop, test, document, and deploy business-critical features for hirify.global consoles, websites, mobile applications, and future devices.
• Build digital commerce solutions for games, media content, subscriptions, and related services.
• Work with Product Owners, Product Managers, and engineers to define requirements, technical approaches, and application components.
• Write unit and component tests, review pull requests and design plans, and improve code quality and development practices.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, responsiveness, scalability, and existing platform solutions.
• Deploy through CI/CD pipelines, monitor releases and telemetry, and adapt applications based on production data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in place of a degree.
• 2–3 years of experience building product experiences with UI technologies.
• Object-oriented development background and experience with JavaScript-based applications.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to robust, sustainable, high-quality code and detailed design and development documentation.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Madison, Wisconsin, with occasional in-person meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience with HTML, CSS, React, Angular, Jest, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, REST APIs, and Docker.
• Understanding of multi-platform build pipelines and CI/CD standards.
• Experience with performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools or developer-efficiency automation.
