Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer (Java/React)

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year, plus eligible RSU grant and variable annual bonus

What you will do

• Build and maintain interactive data visualization components and reporting features using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop scalable APIs and backend services with Java, Spring, Hibernate/JPA, and SQL to support complex reporting queries.
• Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and engineers to turn complex datasets into intuitive interfaces.
• Write unit and integration tests, apply test-driven development, and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and optimize performance across client-side rendering, backend services, and MySQL/RDBMS queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2+ years of experience building full-stack applications.
• Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring, and Spring MVC.
• Experience with SQL, MySQL or another RDBMS, Hibernate/JPA, and JDBC.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation, RESTful APIs, and a modern client-side framework; React is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Git, command-line environments, client-side debugging, and collaborative engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle, Vite, or Webpack experience.
• Redux or Vuex, CSS preprocessors, and Elasticsearch experience.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Netty, Tomcat, or Resin.
• Exposure to large language models and agentic software development.
