Senior Financial Analyst (Tableau & Power BI Developer)

What you will do

• Analyze financial data, reporting requirements, business processes, and operational performance metrics to support leadership decision-making.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau and Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, datasets, and visualizations.
• Perform financial analysis, reconciliations, variance analysis, data validation, and audit readiness activities.
• Extract, cleanse, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to produce recurring, ad hoc, and executive-level reporting.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into dashboards, analytical products, and decision-support tools while coordinating with financial, operational, and technical teams.
• Guide, coach, review, and manage the workload of analysts and communicate findings, risks, trends, and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, reconciliation, budget execution, audit support, business intelligence, data analytics, or related financial management functions.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, datasets, and visualizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, relational databases, data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, prioritization, and delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DHA, DoD, federal financial management, audit readiness, or related mission support initiatives.
• Experience with Tableau Prep, Tableau Server administration, Power BI Service administration, data warehousing, ETL, or advanced reporting environments.
• Experience developing executive dashboards, management reports, scorecards, performance metrics, or decision-support products.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring junior staff, or coordinating analytical activities across stakeholder groups.
• Experience with Qlik, Python, R, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, healthcare financial management, ERP systems, or large-scale federal financial operations.
