UI/UX Developer (Tableau)

Location: Remote, local to Washington, DC; U.S. citizenship required

What you will do

• Design and modernize user-centered applications, dashboards, reporting interfaces, and mission-support tools.
• Translate business and operational requirements into wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and functional interface designs.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Microsoft Power Platform, and related technologies.
• Support data integration across multiple sources and SQL-based platforms, including Redshift, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Conduct usability testing, user acceptance testing, and validation while applying accessibility and user experience best practices.
• Support application sustainment, architecture discussions, defect resolution, documentation, and ongoing modernization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant technical field.
• 15+ years of professional experience in data analysis, assessment, and/or reporting.
• Experience with UI/UX design, application modernization, dashboards, reporting solutions, usability, accessibility, and user-centered design.
• Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, or functional interface designs.
• Ability to lead high-visibility, mission-critical projects independently from concept through delivery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Federal Government, including the Department of Homeland Security.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and related design tools.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to understand advanced technical concepts.
