TL;DR
Senior Data Analyst – Analytics, Data & Intelligence (Power BI/SQL): Building and maintaining business intelligence reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions from complex datasets with an accent on data quality, visualization, governance, and decision support. Focus on translating business needs into measures and data products, validating and reconciling multi-source data, and guiding analytics delivery from requirements through adoption.
Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; hybrid arrangement with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote

What you will do
- Prepare, integrate, cleanse, validate, and analyze complex datasets for reports, dashboards, analytics products, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Excel.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches, measures, data requirements, and actionable findings.
- Lead or support requirements gathering, exploratory analysis, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, and solution adoption.
- Monitor data quality, investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance, peer review, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to analysts while contributing to analytical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, analytics, information systems, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of progressively responsible experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data visualization, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience developing reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI or a similar platform.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts, including querying, joining, validating, and reconciling data from multiple sources.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Tampa four days per week, with one remote day; occasional travel, weekend, or overtime support may be required.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise analytics, large or complex datasets, utility operations, or technology transformation programs.
- Experience with Snowflake, Python, machine learning, AI data solutions, cloud data platforms, or Agile delivery.
- Advanced coursework, a graduate degree, or relevant certifications in analytics, Power BI, SQL, Python, data visualization, or related areas.
