Proposal Strategist

Location: Full-time onsite in Washington, D.C., with occasional travel to the Los Angeles headquarters.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year base salary, plus equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Own proposals, white papers, and other written responses from handoff through final submission.
• Analyze solicitation instructions, evaluation criteria, amendments, and submission requirements.
• Develop response outlines, schedules, and compliance checklists while identifying delivery and content risks.
• Coordinate contributions from engineering, business development, and subject-matter experts.
• Interview technical experts and translate complex concepts into clear, customer-focused narratives.
• Edit multi-author contributions into a consistent, technically accurate voice and support documentation work as capacity allows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, technical writing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn complex technical material quickly and explain it clearly.
• Customer-focused approach, critical thinking, sound judgment, and ability to maintain quality under deadline pressure.
• Must work onsite in Washington, D.C.; occasional travel to Los Angeles is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required export authorizations without sponsorship.
